El Lissitzky is an international project designed by the union of 15 italian artists from different fields, united by the common desire of contributing to the growth of crypto art.
Our collection is a pure tribute to Lazar 'Markovic Lisickij (Poéinok 1890 - Moscow 1941), one of the most fervent interpreters of the artistic culture of the first half of the twentieth century: painter, photographer, architect, typographer, designer of the Russian avant-garde.
3000 one of a kind artworks are individually signed and minted on the Ethereum Blockchain, generated on different bases of hand painted canvas, where 4 different levels of art are added, 36 individual traits mixing geometrical design and suprematic art subjects, musical instruments and dancers, finally blended with 10 original songs.
Every art work is unique, signed as 1/1, and carries inside itself the metadata that describe its composition and rarity within the collection. Some compositional traits are much rarer: when combined, they guarantee a much higher value to the artwork. Different levels of rarity are guaranteed, with a lucky chance of finding a piece of immense value.

Year 2020 marked the 130th anniversary of the birth of El Lissitzky (1890 - 1941). El Lissitzky is one of the greatest masters of the European and Russian avant-garde, an engineer-architect, an artist-constructor, an illustrator, a font master, a designer, an art theorist. A significant milestone for the world's art and design is his creative period in Vitebsk, his collaboration with Kazimir Malevich, participation in the program activities of the “UNOVIS” in Vitebsk art school, the development of a new visual language in typography, poster and exhibition designs.
Popularization of the work of El Lissitzky and the heritage of the Vitebsk art school. Interconnection of the art system of El Lissitzky and relevant design language. Revealing the linguistic structure of the text in relation to the image of space and time in a poster, art object, book; construction and deconstruction of meaning in design.
Publication of information about the competition on the founders’ websites and dedicated project pages of Facebook, vkontakte, Instagram.
The date of the competition is 30.04.2021 - 25.12.2021.
